300's Finally there!

399.6 lbs today it is a goal I have really worked hard for and now its time to shoot for the 200's. I feel so much better more alive than I have in years Its Awesome.
I even went kite flying Saturday for 3 hours and only got a sunburn.
3 hours on my feet is a miracle considering 2 months ago standing for 5 min made me dizzy.
What a program that has taught me if your hungry you gain weight so never be hungry!

I eat 5 times a day in portioned amounts from main meals to snacks and drink about 1-2 gallons of filtered water a day. I also take many supplements to help my body through this transition. As you can imagine blood pressure vitamins are a staple at this juncture.
Morning 3 blood pressure supplements, Electrolytes, JD Premium K-48, JD premium Vita max vitamins, digestive enzymes to keep things running smoothly, Special Protein drink for breakfast with a big cup a herbal tea.
It may sound like allot but you cant argue with the results!

Workout every day!

I go to the gym 6 times a week for at least one hour of Hard bike riding.
I used to have a weight-lifting program but it was adding weight not taking it off.
Dr. Hansen put me on a strict no weight lifting program and one night a week interval training.
I spend 1 hour every day on the exercise bike set between 19-21 tension and keep my heart rate between 130-140 for one hour.
Wed nights I ride the bike for 1 hour 10 min warm up then 1 min at full speed then 5 min slow 1 min full and so on until one hour is complete.
last night I lost 5 lbs by doing this boost workout.
I used to do this twice a week but Dr. Hansen asked me to switch to one time per week.
He also cut out all sugar and made portion sizes more strict to get the weight off faster due to my blood pressure was still high but not in the danger level.
Dr. Hansen deserves the credit for the program but GOD deserves the credit for leading me to him and giving him the tools to save my life.

Mile Marker

Today my weight is 400.6 lbs.! When I started losing weight, I weighed 470.2. I have lost 70 lbs now!!!! Wohoo!!!! What a great feeling. I can't wait to break into the 300's. Almost there!!!!

One thing I have learned - High Fructose Corn Syrup

High Fructose Corn Syrup should be avoided like the Plague! I don't know. Maybe you already know this. The sad thing is that it is in just about EVERYTHING! Watch your labels. Its nice to know that if a product is organic there is guaranteed to be no high fructose corn syrup in it. My wife and I were so excited to find that Hunt has created a ketchup without High Fructose corn syrup. We found it on sale at WalMart for $1.00. We stocked up when we found it. Healthy stuff is usually so much more expensive than the unhealthy food. Sad. Anyway... there is a lot to be said for staying away from high fructose corn syrup as much as possible. High Fructose corn syrup makes weight loss more difficult. This one thing my wife has really been working on and has lost 10 lbs within the last couple of months.

January the wake up call!

It was the end of January when I was just feeling run down tired and I honestly felt like my body was shutting down. I was winded just walking up the stairs and found it was easy to drink 2-3 can of dew each day for energy. My friend Adam gave me some vitamins to try before Christmas and they seemed to help bring me back to reality a little better. K-48 from JD premium made my life bearable but not complete. I was invited to a Conference where I met a Friend of Adams Dr. Lynn Hansen from Burley ID. Dr. Hansen promised me he could help me and get me back on track. On Jan 27Th I went o his office and he started doing tests the first was blood pressure 236/147 can you say Stroke! Then we did The body mass test 470.2 lbs 57.19% lean mass and 42.81% body fat. needless to say it was time NOT TO DIE.
I have 2 wonderful boys Jordan 7 and Nathan 5 I want to be around to see them grow up and not leave them without a father. Adam was going to take me out for a final feeding at the local Oriental restaurant but Dr. Hansen had a meal ready and waiting for me. It was great filled me up I started on the path to weight loss. I go back every month and see Dr. Hansen to get updates on Vitamins meals and exercise plans. I cannot share all the details with you at this time I have made a promise to Dr. Hansen he needs all the credit for this process he has spent years putting this program together and I would be more than happy to refer any of you to him.
